I think that Ibn Battuta was very brave and amazing. It must be very cool to ride a camel. I also think he might have been scared when the robbers attacked him. I also have a unanswered question! Did he have a wife at some point? Anyways I thought it was pretty cool that he got to write all his thoughts in a book so people in the future an read about him.

I like the way Ibn Battuta traveled. I rode a camel at a fair in Springfield once. It was fun. I would not like to be him or any of the people with him because if I was I could have died on the journey. I liked the part when he was traveling with the king because he got to sit on a silver throne and it is not every day you get to ride with a king.

I really liked the video. The parts I most liked were when he was traveling. I did not like when he got attacked by robbers and Bandits, or when he lost all his belongings at sea. I would never want to be him. It would be to stress full and hard to do. Last, I do think he was scared.
ReplyDeleteIbn Buttuta was a very good man. I like him traveling. I don't like there being a mall called Ibn Battuta mall because I feel very jealous if I'm not well known and Ibn Battuta is. I would love to be Ibn Battuta. If you ask me I don't think he is scared because he is really brave. If I was that brave, I would travel to every state in The whole entire universe!

I am pretty impressed that Ibn Battuta traveled 75,000 miles in 29 years. I like that he got to travel with a king. But what I don't like is that he died, it must stink A LOT. But they didn't say when he died or how he died... I would actually want to be Ibn Battuta if he wouldn't die. º_º

What I like is that Ibn Battuta travels on camels and that Ibn didn't give up when he was traveling from country to country island to island. What I didn't like is that he almost drowned when the ship that he was on, he lost all his stuff and the ship sunk. My unanswered question is why did he have to go to China couldn't he go somewhere else? I would not like to be Ibn and travel the world because I don't feel safe sleeping with a stranger and also I would get so tired and I maybe would pass out. I think he was scared because of all of his surroundings, because I know I would be scared.

I can't believe that the country was founded in 1961. And that it developed in a short time. Did they really build a museum after the planes landed? Wow thats cool. Know that the oil is low, how are they going to make money?

I liked the movie about Ibn Battuta. He was a traveler in the 14 century. He traveled by camel and boat. I think he was scared because he almost ran out of water and he was in the desert. He wrote a book about his adventures.

I thought the story of Ibn Battuta was very interesting. I liked that he traveled to three different continents on camels and ships. It was unlucky he got attacked by bandits and a ship sunk with his belongings in it. It must have been very hard to travel so far. He had to have been brave!

How did Ibn die? I thought he was very talented that he survived the ship wreck and the robbery. He was very young and left his parents at the age of twenty. I would like to do traveling but not as much as him because he was like I'm going here now here and again over here. He went to almost 2 million places. MR19
ReplyDeleteIbn Battuta went to a lot of places think how hard it was like to get every single city he must of felt really nervous. Did Ibn Battuta have a goal to travel that many miles. If I was Ibn Battuta I would like to travel but not that far away. There is a book about Ibn Battuta today wow the book is really old. What did Ibn Battuta's parents think they must have been sad.

I would not like to be like Ibn Battuta because having robbers chase me would be scary. It is hard to believe this is not a tall tale. How could he do so many risky adventures in his life? Also how do people know that all of these things really happened? Even a few of his adventures sound too risky for me. Travel today is much safer and I am grateful for that.

I liked the part where he was on the ground Kneeling because he made it better and acutely (sort of) made it easier for people today to understand Ibn Battuta. I didn't like when he nearly drowned because then we would of had have no idea who he was. I wonder who Ibn Battuta's family is now. Ibn Battuta must have been scared but knew he had to have courage in his self or else he wouldn't help anybody. If I had a choice to take a journe with Ibn Battuta or stay at home, i would stay at home. As much as i would want to go with him, I would never have the courage to do so.

I liked the maps in the movie. When they drew lines between cities I felt like I was traveling to these countries in the 14th century with Ibn Battuta. I thought the movie was good because it went into detail about who Ibn Battuta was throughout his life. I really liked that the movie made me think about how it felt to be Ibn in the 14th century. The movie showed me that what seemed exciting was also scary. I didin't like the music because I could not get the the full detail on some of the important parts of the movie. Yes I do think he was scared on his trips because of bandits and robbers trying to harm him. I would like to be Ibn because I've always like to travel the world and learn about different countries.

I liked when Ibn got to travel on the Camel. I also liked when Ibn got to travel with the spoiled king. I didn't like when Ibn got attacked by Wicked bandits and when he almost drowned in a ship with his belongings. I want to know when Ibn Battuta died and how? I would not want to be Ibn Battuta because I would not want to get attacked and almost drown in a ship with all my golden belongings. I think he was scared after he got attacked by bandits but I think he was brave when he got to China.
ReplyDeleteI thought that was a really cool video. I liked how he travelled all around the world. I think that Ibn should not have gone on that long trip because there were robbers there. He should have just gone to Mecca like almost everybody else because that would have been safer. One thing I would like to know is what year he drowned.
ReplyDeleteOR21
I would think Ibn must be extremely scared because he got robbed & attacked. I would NOT want to travel the world like Ibn because it is scary, and you could not see your family. I like to travel but not like Ibn because it does not sound at all evan close to how I travel with my family.I usually travel either with cars or airplanes and I stay in beautiful hotels. I do admire his bravery.

The camel ride would of taken a long time, these days you just hop on a plane and your there in a couple hours. I love the sound of the places he went I have been to Damascus, in the Middle East. You cant go there anymore because there is a civil war happening. I think Ibn was really scared when his ship almost sunk and when he got robbed. He must of felt safe and happy when he got to China.
