Holiday Traditions

What is a holiday tradition that you celebrate in the winter? Do you do something special? What is it? Do you know when or why your tradition was started?

    As far as I know, I don't really have any actual traditions. But, as long as I remember, I've been going to my grandma's house for Christmas, and I go to Texas for Thanksgiving.

    we have always put up an advent calender that was made by my grandma. It can be used over and over again
