Grabber
What makes Grabber the antagonist of the story we are reading in Book Club?
(How does he act, what does he do that tells the reader he is the bag guy?)
I agree KO16, Grabber did want to start a war, but also. If he actually did it, he would die or get injured in the war and then he would have done it for no reason.
I agree with KO16. Also, Okwari did not leave Grabber in the ravine and Grabber expected to see Okwari help him, even though he wouldn't have helped Okwari. MD3
He wanted to start a war. That proved that he was an antagonist.

He wanted to raid the Anee tek vilage for no good reason and always wants to be the best.

I agree with OP17. Grabber would get hurt or injured if he started a war.

Grabber was an antagonist because he wanted to raid the Anen:taks and they did nothing wrong even though Grabber said they have not traded fairly.
